Our History
The Boyton Street Community Center was established in 1987 by the City of Marion. It offers opportunities for both children and families. The Boyton Street Community Center works cooperatively with local social service agencies to provide clients with various services. The Boyton Street Community Center is governed by a set of board members under the advice and consent of the City of Marion Council.
Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed for the After-School All-Stars program, particularly for homework help and tutoring. Volunteers should be able to work well with kids, assist with learning, and be a positive role model. Most volunteers serve from 3:30-5:00 one day per week, Monday-Thursday.
